Payson Canyon, Utah | Haskell Family

These kids were seriously so good! They looked at the camera and smiled! That never happens without a lot of work. They are so adorable! Little Max is just so cute. The Haskell's are a good, good family! 

Squaw Peak, Provo Canyon Utah | Butterfield Family

I've been scouting out new locations for family pictures and my friend told me about this awesome one up Squaw Peak. I went and checked it out and it was great– a meadow with Fall colors behind it, just what my clients wanted. Well after it stormed all weekend, I took the Butterfield family up there and IT SNOWED!!! On September 24, we were taking pictures in snow. AH. The Butterfield's were so great and up for the adventure despite how cold and slippery it was. 

This was a fun shoot! The boys were so goofy and funny– they were making me laugh. The little ones did awesome too! I'm glad I brought my marshmallows with me because that was good bribery for the little boys.

It's crazy how much more bright and vibrant these pictures turned out because of the snow. It was so pretty up there! The Butterfields are awesome!

Sundance, Utah | Merrill Family

Despite the rainy forecast, the Merrill's and I decided to go for it and take family pictures. We got about 30 minutes with no rain and then it poured. And there was no letdown. I got a lot of photos in the beginning, but we wanted a few more family shots. So I told them how to pose and then we hurried and went in the rain for 3 seconds to take a shot. It was quite the experience and everyone was troopers! The Merrill's are an awesome family and it was fun to be with them again!
