Ogden Temple & Grand View, UT | Stephanie & Cole Wedding

Stephanie and Cole are such a sweet sweet couple and so photogenic!

Some of my favorite things about their wedding day:

- They got married in the Ogden temple. It was my first time photographing a wedding there! It wasn't busy at all so we took our time taking our pictures in the shade. It was so hot! Their families were so easy going and nice.

- I got a few minutes to take pictures of just them around the temple. It's my favorite part because I get to talk to them one on one. Stephanie wasn't feeling too well on her wedding day so Cole was so sweet and took extra good care of her by picking up her dress and holding her bouquet.

- At the Grand View Reception Center, they had a luncheon/dinner for all their guests. The food was SO GOOD. And Stephanie and her mom were so kind to let me and my assistant eat with them.

- Stephanie had the sweetest dance with her 4 brothers. She got emotional with each one of them. It was really special to see her relationship with each one. Then Cole danced with his mama. And they have such a sweet relationship too. I loved how she kept hugging Cole and kissing him on his cheek. I loved it! Then Cole took Stephanie for their first dance. I love photographing that too. He knows how to make her smile!

- The rest of the wedding went so good! They cut the cake, talked to more of their guests and had a sparkler exit early!

I'm very happy I got to work with them!

Congratulations Stephanie and Cole!

Wrigley Family

I'm so happy that I asked Heather to second shoot for me for a wedding I did awhile back. She was amazing– so helpful and supportive and so great with kids. We've shot a lot more weddings since and become good friends. She's just a person you can easily get along with! We did a trade and took each other's family pictures. She did amazing with mine and I have them hanging on my walls already! Here are her family pictures. Her family is darling! They have such a cute and fun relationship with each other. I loved taking them!

Logan Temple & The Ivy House, UT | Ashley & Justin Wedding

My favorite things from Justin and Ashley's wedding:

- They got married in the Logan, UT temple. It was my first time photographing a wedding there. I loved the grounds and the temple is gorgeous. Ashley and Justin went to school at Utah State and so the Logan temple is very special to them.

- Their wedding party was so much fun. I loved the bridesmaids' dresses and they all had a bracelet that Ashley gave them with their name on it. Justin's groomsmen all had cool matching socks on.

- I loved taking pictures of just the two of them around the temple. It was a hot day, but that didn't stop them from being easy going and having a good time. Seriously love this couple!

- Their reception was at the Ivy House in downtown Salt Lake City. It was so pretty inside and outside. I got there first so I could take real good pictures of the space.

- After the line, I sneaked them away a for a few more shots. And they obliged cuz they're awesome like that. They will have SO many pictures of the two of them.

- They had the best food there. Shrimp and savory crepes. Yum!

- The whole reception was low stress and laid back. I loved it!

- Their first dance was so sweet.

- And their sparkler exit was pretty great too!

Everything went so well for them! I'm excited for them to start their lives together! And I may just run into them one day because they live right down the road from me now!

Congrats Ashley and Justin!!
