Payson, UT Temple | Megan & Garrett Wedding

Megan and Garrett got sealed at the Payson Temple on January 3rd. The day was a cold one, but it sure was beautiful with a blanket of snow on the ground. Even the sky was clear! The inversion wasn't too bad (the inversion makes for nice lighting!). Megan and Garrett came out of those doors with some big smiles! They got some quick hugs from family and then were ready for pictures. The cold makes everyone move a little bit faster haha.  Everyone was so great and we went through all the picture real quick! It was fun for me to see Megan and her family again. They used to live in my neighborhood and I grew up with their oldest daughter, Kelsey. I have fun memories of them. They're great people! They all were excited for Megan and happy to have a new son in law in the family.

Congratulations Garrett and Megan!

Payson Temple, UT | Megan & Garrett Formals

Garrett and Megan are so cute together. We went up Payson Canyon for their formal pictures and the sun was shining and it was so beautiful up there with the snow. But it was freeeezing. Poor Megan had short sleeves and was shivering so bad. Garrett was cute and tried to always keep her warm. The pictures turned out so good still! Megan has the most gorgeous hair! And I loved her cool eco flower bouquet. And Garrett's tie was pretty cool too. They're great!

Salt Lake Temple, UT | Jamie & Salvatore Wedding

Jamie called me about a week before her wedding to see if I could be her wedding photographer. I was available and was so excited to be there! I met her and her husband, Salvatore right at the top of the stairs at the Salt Lake Temple. They were all smiles and so happy to be married! It was a below freezing day, but the sun was shining! Jamie and Salvatore hugged and greeted their friends and family members. Then we quickly took group pictures so we could get everyone out of the cold.

After the stair pictures, we walked around the grounds taking more pictures. They were such troopers to stay outside that long. I told Jamie to wear leg warmers under her dress and that helped, but her feet were freezing. I'm glad she had long sleeves on her dress though! I loved her dress. It was handmade. She also wore it to be sealed in and it will forever be her temple dress. They're such a cute couple. It was fun to hear their story and get to know them a little better.

Congratulations Jamie and Salvatore! It was a pleasure being your photographer!
