Payson, Utah Temple | Marrin & Ryan Wedding

I think Marrin is so awesome. I got the pleasure of knowing her at church in Young Womens. She always had a smile on her face, wore the cutest clothes, could rock blue highlights in her hair, and was super nice to me. I was pretty excited that she asked me to photograph her wedding. She had always told me stories of Ryan, but I never got to meet him. But he must be a pretty awesome guy too to get to marry Marrin.

On September 29th, they were sealed together in the Payson, Utah temple. Their sealing was at 5:30 so they could come out right at golden hour (a photographer's dream). Unfortunately a few things happened and they came out after the sun went down– but it was OK! It did not affect Ryan or Marrin's moods. They were excited to be married. After one group shot and a few wedding party shots, I finished taking their photos in the dark. It was fun to experiment with my flash and they were totally chill about it. Seriously I loved hanging out with them! I'm so happy that they are married!

Congrats Mr and Mrs Ricks!

Silver Lake, Big Cottonwood Canyon, UT | Emily & Natha Engagements

Emily and Natha are together AT LAST! They have had quite the journey of trying to get Natha's Visa so that he can come to the US and get married. They have had to postpone their wedding 3 times. But FINALLY, he got it and came last Friday. Wahoo!

Emily loved Silver Lake for her engagements, so we got to drive up the canyon and show Natha how beautiful Utah is! Then, come to find out, Silver Lake has snow. It was his first time seeing this much snow and his first time being in this cold. He said that he was just so cold that his smile was frozen on. haha. Emily and Natha are so SWEET together. I barely even told them what to do and how to pose because they kept doing the cutest things. I think they are super excited to get married next week!!

South Fork Park, Provo Canyon, UT | Stephanie Maternity Pictures

It was my first time meeting Stephanie and Dave. Stephanie told me beforehand that they just wanted fun, candid pictures because they are fun and goofy. I was excited to meet them! They are SO nice and SO fun! It was easy to be around them and have a good time. We even got real close under a blanket when it started to rain. They were so chill about it. It cleared up after not that long and we got some great pictures. They are going to have one lucky child to have them as parents! Congrats you two!
