Wedding

Provo City Temple, Utah | Bekah & Eric Wedding

It was another freezing cold winter day, but it didn't stop Bekah and Eric from being happy and in love! They got sealed at the Provo City Temple. It was my first time shooting a wedding solo there. I love this temple! Eric and Bekah had a pretty great exit from the temple in my wedding. Look at that dip! They're pros! After hugging their friends and family, we took pictures on the opposite side in the cold. Everyone was very nice and we got through the pics fast! Those poor kids were so cold though! After getting the pics done, Bekah and Eric noticed that they didn't have their car keys and mom or dad weren't anywhere to be found and we couldn't get a hold of them. I was about to give them a ride to their luncheon! They said they'd figure things out and I actually don't know what happened, but things worked out!

Later in the evening, they had their reception at the Salem Community Center. Bekah and her family did an amazing job of dressing that venue up! They brought in sheer curtains and put lights behind them. Something that I haven't seen before but really liked, was instead of a childhood slideshow on a TV, they printed out the pictures and put them on a clothesline for people to look at when they were standing in line. Very cute! All her other decor was beautiful too. I thought the cake was cool how it had a feather on it. The nieces and nephews liked the cake too and kept poking at it, haha. We had to move the feather a couple of times.

Bekah and Eric talked to all their guests. They had a bunch of people! I even had a fun time talking to some of them. For their food, they had a mac n cheese bar. So unique and looked delicious! After the line was done, Bekah danced with her dad and Eric dance with his mom. It was sweet, but it was even sweeter when they got to dance with each other. They lit up even more. They have such a cute relationship! They were smiling the whole time. Next was the cake cutting! They sure had a good smooshing of the cake in each other's faces! haha It was red velvet cake and I was so nervous it was going to get on her dress, but instead, it got all over the ground. Whoops! After their friends and family sent them off! Their friends and family were so nice and so fun!

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Langlois!

Payson UT Temple | KelsiJo & Scott Formals

Ok I know I always talk about the snow and how beautiful it is, but this session in the snow was magic. It did not stop snowing the whole time! It was so gorgeous!

KelsiJo wanted to do some up the canyon first, but unfortunately, the snow was knee deep and we didn't come prepared with a shovel or anything. She was a good sport and we did the whole session at the Payson temple. I made Scott stand out in the middle of the snowy field with an umbrella as Me and KelsiJo's friend, Kimber helped her get situated. She came prepared with shower curtains to put underneath her dress. Then we took away their umbrellas, Scott turned around and saw his beautiful bride. I always love this moment!

We did a few more pics in the field and then went over to the temple. KelsiJo's dress was pretty wet by the time we were done with everything, but she was a good sport. They were both great sports with it being freezing! Also, don't you love her bouquet? Oh my heck, the succulents and orangey/pink flowers (help me out, florists) were amazing!

Their wedding is next week! Yay!

Provo City Center Temple | Bekah & Eric Formals

I was nervous for this shoot because of the weather! But Bekah and Eric were awesome and still wanted to go up Provo canyon! It was snowing all day long, but the roads were clear all the way up past Sundance until the parking lot. The snow was super deep, but luckily some snowshoers and snowmobilers packed it down so we wouldn't sink down.

I got to talk to Eric for a few minutes while we waited for Bekah to arrive. I loved hearing their dating story. They had met in a Singles Ward but both were waiting for missionaries to get home, so they didn't date. They teased each other that one would get married before the other because their missionaries got home a day apart. They also teased each other that if things didn't work out with the missionaries, they should get married. Well the missionaries got home and things didn't work out with them, so Eric and Bekah started dating! Now here they are about to get married!

The formals session was awesome. There was a group of girls getting their pictures done at the same spot, so Eric and Bekah had a little audience when they did their first look. It was so funny to hear the girls squealing and saying awwwww. It was pretty dang cute. Eric was so excited to see her! Bekah's dress was pretty dang beautiful! I kept them in the same spot and just switched up poses so they didn't have a chance of sinking in the snow. Oh but I did. Every other step I was up to my thighs. What a workout! After awhile, it started to lightly snow for a bit. It was magical!

After the canyon, we did a few shots at the Provo City temple until the sun set. It was so pretty!

I'm excited for their wedding Saturday!
