Wedding

Salt Lake Temple, Joseph Smith Memorial Building, UT | Ashley & Connor Wedding

I'm so happy that Ashley and Connor got a beautiful sunny day to get married. When we did their formal pictures, it was quite the opposite! Here's some of my favorite things about their day:

- Their families were BOTH so amazing and helpful and kind. We had to wait about 20 minutes for the stairs, and they were all so patient while we waited and super cooperative once we did get the stairs. They're great! They were also so wonderful during the reception!

- I loved having more time with Ashley and Connor to take formal pictures. Like I said before, the sun was shining and the grounds were so pretty. Even the grass was turning green again. Ashley and Connor are so extremely nice! I love taking pictures of them! Ashley's dress was so gorgeous on her. She is so beautiful!

- Their reception was at the Joseph Smith Building. And it was on the 9th floor with the view of the temple. It was gorgeous! I loved the flower arrangements on the tables, all the amazing looking cakes they served, the pianist playing the grand piano, the toy room they had in the back for the kids, and the sign in table where guests signed on jenga blocks.

- Ashley's good friend, Danielle helped me come up with different ways to set up their rings in unique ways. It was fun! Thanks again, Danielle!

- I loved all the dances! During Ashley and her dad's dance, Ashley's little nephew came out on the floor to have a closer look. He is so cute! He wanted to be with his Grandpa the whole day! Ashley and Connor's first dance was so sweet too! They are so cute with each other.

- For the send off they did sparklers. Wooo! They were humongous sparklers so they lasted longer. Ashley and Connor ran out, ran around the corner and came back in haha. They wanted to come out in their formal attire for the send off, but then wanted to change into comfier clothes on the way to the hotel. They're pretty great!  I cleaned up my things and walked out with them. They're so easy going!

I'm so happy to have met them and wish them the best!

Congratulations Ashley and Connor!

Utah State Capitol, UT | Ashley & Connor Formals

Travel Fee: $10

Ashley and Connor are getting married this Friday! I'm so excited for them. Ashley and Connor met in a Singles Ward. Connor asked her out a few times before Ashley said yes, but not because she didn't want to! She was just always busy! They went on their first date to Bicentennial Park where they played frisbee golf. Ashley doesn't love played frisbee golf, but something went right on the date, because they got engaged at that park! They are such a sweet couple and so happy together! For their formal pictures, we drove in a storm to the Capitol. It was so cute when Connor saw her for the first time in her beautiful dress! After taking pictures at the capitol, we decided to see how the temple was even though it was so snowy. It was snowing a lot but we took a few pictures in it. I love snowy pictures and love easy going couples!

Provo City Center Temple, UT | Hannah & Brandyn Wedding

Hannah and Brandyn originally had their wedding date in June, but decided to get married sooner. I'm so glad they did! Their wedding day was beautiful! Even though it was a little chilly, the sun was shining!

A few things I loved about their wedding day:

- I love Hannah's dress and her shoes and her jewelry and her flowers. She looked gorgeous! I also really loved the bridesmaid's dresses and shoes. I may have to go do some shopping!

- I loved taking their family's pictures. They made things so easy! They had a lot of family from out of town, so it was good to see those relationships reunite.

- After the temple, they had a luncheon at Magelby's in Springville. They were so nice to invite me! Brandyn's mom insisted. She is also a photographer and so she was super understanding and helpful and sweet all night. It was good to get to know their family better. Plus the food was delicious.

- Their reception was at the Copper Creek Event Center in Springville. I really like this venue. Hannah and her mom did an AMAZING job decorating it. It was so simple and classy. I loved the greenery, the flowers, the candles. So pretty!

- After taking a few more family pictures and greeting a few guests, Hannah and Brandyn sat down to eat. Hannah had Brandyn feed her meatballs and it was super cute. I'm glad they took time to eat!

- Hannah and her dad's dance was so sweet, but I really love watching her family. They were smiling and in tears as they watched them. Then her dad gave her to Brandyn. Their first dance as husband as wife and it was just as sweet!

- Hannah and Brandyn cut their cake after and stuffed it in each other's faces. They had cupcakes but had a smaller cake to cut. On the smaller cake, they had Brandyn's parents' cake topper from their wedding. I thought that was special! They also picked their favorite cupcakes. These were SOOO good. Hannah's favorite was the chocolate chip one and Brandyn's the almond one.

- One thing I really loved was that Hannah didn't want a big bouquet toss, so she tossed it to who will most likely get married next. She tossed it to Brandyn's sister who just got engaged! Woo!

- Next it was time to send off Hannah and Brandyn. They all lit their sparklers and cheered for them as they ran through.

It was a fun wedding!! Congratulations Hannah and Brandyn!
